Elliott Price

Elliott performed his PhD work in the laboratory of Prof. Paul D Fraser at Royal Holloway University of London, UK. His work focussed on the application of metabolomics to the genus Dioscorea (yams), in collaboration with the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, UK (BBSRC-DTP) and the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture, Nigeria; alongside the wider CGIAR Research Program on Roots, Tubers and Bananas. Elliott proceeded with post-doctoral research in the same group, funded by the ESPRC and EU-FP7 DISCO, prior to joining the Wheelock Laboratory in January 2018. Elliott will focus on implementing automated analytical workflows using robotic sample preparation systems and SPE-MS/MS to develop protocols for high-throughput molecular phenotyping.
