Johan Kolmert

Johan Kolmert has 9 years of experience of bioanalysis from the pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca as an untargeted and targeted metabolomics expert. He holds a M.Sc in Engineering Biology from Umeå University and received his PhD in 2018 in the Wheelock Lab in association with Professor Sven-Erik Dahlén at KI and lecturer Anders Nordström at Umeå University. In Johan´s thesis work he is focused on urinary lipid and polar mediators of inflammation applying LC/MS based technologies. Currently, he is working with larger clinical cohorts for sub phenotype characterization and small clinical studies for kinetic-mechanistic understanding of histamine excretion rates in asthma.
