Fabio Luiz D'Alexandri

Fabio Luiz D`Alexandri obtained his degree in Biology in 2003 and electrical engineering in 2005, both from University of São Paulo (Brazil). From 2003 to 2007 he conducted his PhD in analytical chemistry in the Institute of Biological Science at the same University. In 2008 he joined the Wheelock lab as a postdoctoral researcher working on oxylipin metabolism in cardiovascular diseases. In 2011 he returned to Brazil and worked as a researcher at the Thomson Mass Spectrometry Laboratory and at the Lipid Metabolism laboratory (both in the University of Campinas), working on the development of quantitative mass spectrometry based methods for lipidomics and metabolomics studies in human dyslipidemias. From 2012 to 2013 he worked as a scientist in the Coca-Cola Company, Brazil. Since 2014 he is a researcher at the Laboratory of Physiology and Molecular Endocrinology, University of São Paulo, Brazil, and his research is focused on lipidomics, metabolics and chemometrics analyses to the study of dyslipidemias and human and animal reproduction.
