Susanna L. Lundström obtained her Msc degree in molecular biochemistry in 2002 from Södertörn University. From 2003 to 2008 she completed her PhD in analytical biochemistry in Professor Elke Schwedas lab at Karolinska Institutet working on complex sugar and lipid characterizations using NMR and mass spectrometric techniques.  She joined the Wheelock lab in 2008 as a postdoctoral fellow with focus on LC-MS/MS development and analysis of oxylipins in clinical samples with a particular emphasis on asthma. She is currently employed as a research scientist in Professor Roman Zubarevs lab, Karolinska Institutet where she is focusing on glycopeptide analysis and novel clinical proteomics approaches.
